Getting Started:

Describe a moment in your life when you felt truly and completely free. What did that feel like?
Read Exodus 3:29-35. What do you think that experience would have been like for Moses? What would it have been like for the people? How does Paul use this incident in II Corinthians 3 and what new insights does he draw out of it?
How does the glory of the new covenant differ from that of the old? Compare Exodus 34:27-35 and Jeremiah 31:31-34 with Romans 3:19-24. Why did the once-glorious covenant of Moses have to be replaced by the everlasting covenant of Christ?
